Two Million and Counting!!! A portal into another world...


Time to celebrate another milestone!!!  The blog has now surpassed 2,000,000 page views!!!  Huzzah!!!


It seems like all these big anniversaries come back to the Lizards, where is many ways it all started.


This is the second of two scratch sculpted Engines of the Gods which I made for my army.

They were sculpted mostly from Apoxy Sculpt.  I made a tin foil armature, and then wrapped the Apoxy Sculpt around it.  I also added some green stuff and brown stuff details.


Of course, painting the portals was the most fun!


I had a blast painting these.

    You know your blog has always been so inspirational and a good restbite from work, especially when I can't paint myself. I'm not sure if you remember me when I first found you and asked you all these questions, you instilled a real passion in me that I'll never shake haha I would like to say thanks and congratulations. A well deserved milestone indeed! :) can't wait for 3,000,000!

    Congrats on the milestone. It's well deserved! Always a pleasure visiting your site and viewing your work. Hopefully one day its at the same event I'm attending so I can see some in person! (Do you ever teach classes or demos?). Just had a few with mister justin at nova!

    Since your blog is devinately one of the best ones when it comes to miniature painting, that milestone is well deserved. I especially love your Tomb Kings, the color scheme is just plain awesome :)
    If I could make a wish, it would be a bit more tutorials, since the already existing ones grant a lot of insight into your work and are really helpful. Maybe you find some time during the next 1.000.000 views ;)
