What really happened at the Super Bowl

Here is one last piece from Stonehaven.  This is a bit of an 'extra' piece... normally a casualty.

In this case, I made him a drunk, using another little extra piece, the beer bottle.

Somebody should have been keeping their eye on that power relay!!!

OK folks!  One final group shot of the Stonehaven dwarves!

They really have been fun to paint.  Lots of character.  They will make great RPG minis!!

This did give me a chance to do a nice variety of basing themes :-)

Harrow Boarfell, dwarf Huntsman

Once more we delve into the realm of the Stonehaven dwarves with Harrow Borafell.

Harrow entertains himself by attempting difficult tasks.  Whether it is taking the impossible shot, or tracking impressive game, Harrow is sure to inform others of his success!

In a pinch, Harrow is quick to act.  His reflexes have saved his hide more than once.

Kirin Lightfoot, Dwarf Rogue

Here's one more Stonehaven Dwarf!

This is Kirin Lightfoot.

Kirin has learned to survive on her own, and consequently does not quite know how to work with others.  ait's not that she doesn't want to, but out of habit she thinks of herself first, taking what she needs.

Though Kirin is oblivious to many social expectations, she is friendly at heart and a quick learner...

Orm Surefist, Dwarf Monk

Once again, we return to Stonehaven to see another addition.  This time, it's Orm Surefist!

Orm prefers seclusion.  For him to take up the road, something truly critical must be on the line.  Orm spends most of his free time training.  He does not value social interaction, but he attempts to be kind when forced into a conversation.

I had lots of fun doing the freehand!  The base is from DragonForge Designs, and it has those Woodland Scenics painted leaves for some extra color!

Corna Stonecoven, Dwarf Witch

Introducing Cora Stonecoven Witch, from the Stonehaven miniature line!

Corna is easily startled, sometimes by nothing at all.  She wanders off with no clear self purpose and often speaks to herself... sometimes angrily.

Corna is generally friendly with only a hint of  a wicked side that she suppresses well.  She prefers insight and knowledge as tools of combat.

Kryn the Red from Stonehaven Miniatures

Here's another great miniature from the Stonehaven Dwarf line.  She's Kryn the Red, Dwarf Mage.

Kryn prefers to be in charge of any given situation.  She expects others to acknowledge her superior judgement, and is put off when others have differing opinions.

Kryn prefers to solve problems through magical means, then secondarily through reason...

Dredge Blackwater, Highwayman

Here is another offering from Stonehaven Miniatures!  He is Dredge Blackwater, a dwarf highwayman.

Dredge utilizes his talents in the most direct way possible.  He is not one to spend much time thinking out a plan, but only because he creates excellent plans so quickly.

He does not always communicate his intentions.  Dredge jumps immediately into action and explains himself afterward!

This was another one of those 'limited palette' exercises.

Every color that I used on this was greyed down, and I used the same greenish off-white for the highlights on all the colors.  This was to give him a bit more shadowy appearance.

This set of views gives you a better look at the base.  The base itself is from DragonForge...

While I added some leaves from Woodland Scenics.  You can see that I took some of the maple leaves (a thin tissue-like substance), and glued them onto the base.  Once they set up, I painted them in a fall scheme.  Semi dried out leaves...

A few more shots of the leaves.  These things can really add to a base, that's for sure!!!

Narissa Blackwater, Dwarf Necromancer

Here's another figure from the Stonehaven Dwarf kickstarter!  She is Narissa Blackwater.

Revenge is Narissa's most powerful motivator, she prefers keeping her allies on edge and often nurtures a sadistic side for this sole purpose.  Narissa Blackater is quiet but calculating, preferring to watch others fail before she offers her insight.

The book is an extra bit also made by Stonehaven, one of a few little extra pieces sculpted and cast to spice up your miniature!

I had some fun making her sword glow, and adding some interesting colors, such as a light purple, to certain parts of the armor...

The base was made by Dragonforge.

Kell Hammersong, Dwarf fighter from Stonehaven Miniatures

Tonight we have another fun Dwarf from the Stonehaven Kickstarter!  She is Kell Hammersong.

Despite her looks, Kell is as stubborn as any dwarf.  Drawing her line straight back to the first king of Stonehaven, Kell feels she is destined for greatness.

Kell is always eager to help, though her solutions are often ill-conceived and risky!

Brewmaster Grymm from Stonehaven miniatures

We have one more Dwarf from the Stonehaven Miniatures Kickstarter.

This is Brewmaster Grymm.  He goes about his own business.  When it is convenient, he serves other as he sees best.  The Brewmaster is slow to warm up to new acquaintences, and quick to hold a never ending grudge.
