Kickin' up Dust

This is a figure that we snagged at Adepticon from Knuckledusters.

She's a very fun steampunk western style figure that would be perfect for some Deadlands RPG :-)

It's been a while since I got a chance to use the Reaper clear paints for magentas and reds, so this was a great chance to get back into those, and use all the more muted browns and tans as a contrast.

Dragonfly

Here's one of those classic Sandra Garrity sorceress sculpts.  A fun type of Reaper miniature which we painted very often when we first started painting.

I had a good time with the spell dragon, trying out a combination of the Reaper clear paints and the Vallejo fluorescents.  It worked out quite nicely, as the both paints are highly pigmented yet super translucent.  This makes for some very nice glazing, and enhancing the glowing effect.
