Fantastic painting mate.. if I didn't know it was a miniature, it could be thought of as a painting instead.. love how you did up the feathers and wings..

I am very glad to hear you mention the effect of a 2d painting wrapped around a 3D shape, as it is the cornerstone of my painting philosophy (soon to be entered in my profile) :-) My training and experience was as a watercolor/pastel painter long before I stared painting minis!
