Here comes the rain

This Reaper figure was originally going to be the figure for the Painting Green video, but the much larger Raging Heroes figure was used in the end.

There were a lot of fun elements to the figure, which is always the case with my Reaper favorites!!

The base was also a lot of fun.

Forest Guardian

This figure is another fantastic sculpt from the Raging Heroes line.  She is Syl-Iriah.

She was the perfect miniature for the "Green With Envy" painting video.  It covered a huge range of colors within the 'green' range.  Not only more yellowish or blueish versions of green, but more and less saturated hues as well!

A link for you:

I sculpted the base from Apoxy sculpt.  In fact, I even crated a video on how to create this style of base.  They are very fun!  Apoxy sculpt is just the right material, as it is very strong, but easy to work with.  It holds edges very well!

Here's a link to the forest bases...

The Boss

From Ork Warbosses to the Legion of Everblight, big guys with pointy sticks abound.

The greenish hues on the cloth surfaces and straps were a handy foil to the reddish browns of the fur lining, etc.

Both of those muted war colors still provide some contrast with the neutral grays and the slate blue of the snow base.

Flower Power

Next up from Infamy Miniatures... it's the Flower Girl!

She and her tiny buddy are yet another amazing sculpt from a great line of miniatures.  Incredible little details everywhere, but not hard to assemble at all!

They also have some incredibly dynamic poses.  This little girl is quite typical.

Clearly, she likes to play in the puddles!!  Be sure to buy a flower from her.  Or else.

Big Axe... Bigger Gun!

You have all seen those pictures of the spectacular Raging Heroes Dark Elves.  They have a pretty broad range of figures already, including, Empire style figures, Demonettes, forest spirits and even giant orks!!

I used this figure for the Shaded basecoat painting video, since he had a nice variety of surfaces... flat, angular, armor, weapons, and so on.

These views give you a peek at the base, which is a favorite 40k style for me.  I made a video on how to create this Blasted Concrete base, along with otehr sci-fi bases, which are available here:

Wanted: Dead or Alive

Legendary Jesse James invades the town of Wappelville!

But just when he thought the coast was clear, the clanking sounds of machinery could be heard coming from behind Le Flamant Rose...

Two mechanical beasts emerged from the shadows, which could mean only one thing!

That Wyatt Earp, a Legend himself, would appear.  Sure enough, a cloaked figure strode out from the ground floor of the Saloon.

Right away, the challenge to Jesse was issued.

Jesse attempted to grab a nearby civilian, thinking that she could be used as a human shield.

However, he quickly realized that the Lawmen had lost the trust of the citizens of Wappelville long ago... as evidenced by the burned out buildings newly rebuilt shops all around town!

No human shield would stop Wyatt from his ultimate goal.

It didn't take long before Jesse found himself surrounded by Lawmen..,

"I've got you now, Jesse!"

But Jesse did not come alone.  From out of nowhere, a Dustcuter and Blackjack sped down the street, spewing out lead along the way.

Could this turn the tables for Jesse?

We shall see, in this ultimate challenge of Wild West Exodus Legends!

Turning on a Dime

The tiny tanks get even tinier with the Hotchkiss H-35

While I was surprised at how small the Soumas were, this little guy is truly a 'light' tank.

This was a very common color scheme which I found...

To show that size comparison, here are some shots with the Soumas.

I will continue to test out a few other camo patterns on the future vehicles, so stay tuned!
