Big Bad Wolf: Confrontation Wolfen Diorama

This big old wolf is a part of that "Golden Age of Dioramas".  I used sculpey to create the stone wolf's head.  It is actually hollow on the inside to cut down on weight and sculpey :-)

The trees were done with Woodland Scenics materials.  Oh yeah, and the figure on there is a Rackham Wolfen figure.

Forgeworld Blood Slaughter

Here is the second version of the Slaughterers!  Just like the other one, I used a flying tube to support the massive resin chunk that is the main body.  It really helped.

Speaking of support, he needs the support of all loyal Wappellians on Cool Mini!

Here he is with his buddy...

This gives you a better view of the bases that I made with the usual sculpey and cork...

Lysander conversion --Grey Knights Grand Master

While I have shown some of the Marneus Calgar conversions into GK characters, I have not shown this 'one time' piece.  This involved chopping up a very massive Lysander miniature... quite the hunk of metal!

This was part of a Grey Knights army done in the more traditional slate colored armor.  I have painted so many of them since then in red and eggshell, I forgot just how much I liked the old style slate scheme! :-)

Infinity Ariadne Gallery #4

Well, this is the very last of the Infinity galleries!  One last set of Ariadne.  I had fun doing the urban camo :-)

Fancy bases

Here are some more base designs that I did for CMON.  I made them in the usual way, using baked sculpey.

Critters! Gallery #1

This batch of figures goes along with the recent RPG galleries you have seen, such as the Ilyad barbarians,  the yhetis, centaurs, etc.  It was a lot of fun to paint 'regular' creatures... a welcome change from space marines!!!

Grey Knights slate color dreadnought

Most of the Grey Knights pieces you have seen thus far have been in the bone color scheme.  I have actually done several Grey Knight armies, each with a different color scheme.

I am going to start posting of of the slate colored versions now.  I guess I am reminded of these colors now that I am painting new ones with this same scheme.  However, I have to use a whole different set of paints, since all those old paints are long gone!
