Some more older Warlock miniatures

I think some of these warlock minis almost qualify as 'classic' miniatures.  They probably have a number of years behind them :-)

Imperial Guard Vet squad with a scratch built Chimera

This is the group shot of the recently posted IG squad along with the Artillerist and Titan Tech Priest.  It puts them more in context with each other.  To this end, I have also taken some images with them alongside a scratch built Chimera *yes, I will post the WIP images of the 4 which I made!).

I made the vehicles from Sculpey, plasticard and matboard.

Army brat and Bilbo from Cool Mini or Not

Goblin Queen From CoolMiniOrNot

This rather unusual mini was painted for Cool Mini last year.  I loved the chance to use all sorts of blueish green hues, graying some down, keeping others more saturated.  The base was sculpted from Apoxy sculpt.

Great Eagle from CoolMiniOrNot

I painted this for CMON in 2010.  The eagle is sculpted very well, and it is made of resin.  I would be very tempted to use it for Lord of the Rings myself!

The base is 50mm, so that gives you an idea of size.  It is very comparable to the Great owl I posted a few days ago...

First time technique on Maugan Ra

I tried out a new technique on this figure a few years ago.  It was all about getting wild color transitions, and even trying to make his armor seem bit transparent.  I do that all the time these days, but at the time, it was something quite new!

A few classic Eldar minis

Here are a few "old school" Eldar minis that I had lots of fun painting !
