Let my people (NPC's) go!

Another Reaper Wizard for you!

If you recall the second post regarding the hiding of the broccoli bases, this guy was a part of that.  I used the bark to surround and cover most of it, leaving the one rock under his foot exposed.

The same foliage types from Hangar 18 were used to add some greenery.

He's also here:

There's a light in these woods

And that light is being cast my this very neat little Wood Nymph from Dark Sword Miniatures.

Once the figure was painted, I could not resist using some of the new foliage that I had gotten from Hangar 18!

Bear BONES

In honor of the new BONES kickstarter under way today, we have a very fun Ranger figure from Reaper Miniatures.

Each Reaper miniature has lots of character, whether it's cast in pewter or in the BONES material.

I'm very curious to see what is in BONES III. :-)

He's also here:

Bricks and casings

Here's a fun set of bases for those Miniature 13 figures.  It had been a long time since I had a chance to paint my classic blasted concrete bases.

It's the usual process, working with some of the Secret Weapon opaque washes such as concrete.  It really does create an interesting effect!

Rally 'round the flag

The two versions of Willa Shaw now in one place!

Mounted on her powerful Iron Horse, and on foot.

While she is on foot, she can get her soldiers to march at the double quick, making them a little less likely to fall prey to sneaking marauders.

On her Iron Horse, she can skillfully add to the firepower of the light support Iron Horses.

Don't let those long braids fool you, she's America's girl, and she's gonna put the hurt on you.

A real jet setter for the 19th century :-)

Either way, she is a very interesting character choice for a Union posse!

I want to combine Willa with Lucinda and Sierra.  Those two will lure the more randy opponents form their hideouts so that Willa's mounted troopers can rain down death from afar.

I'll let you know how that all works out in some battle reports, of course.

All for the Union!!

It gets cold in the Wild West

Time for an Outlaw NPC, adding to the total of gun toting civilians for our Wild West Exodus games.

There are more Outlaw NPC's on the way as well!

The herd is HERE!

At long last, folks!  You get to see the entire batch of ten beastmen from Mierce Miniatures!

Banner and bugle first.

Now some of the choppies...

Three more choppers with the unit leader.

And everybody together!

This unit was a lot more fun to paint than I expected it to be!!

I send you off with the command staff.
