Have you got a pair?

More shots of the second Redeemer!

It's been very cool to have all these new shots of these vehicles.  I only with I had this system much long ago!

When I look at these guys, and remember all the crazy little parts that I spent hours painting... which are practically invisible!  Ouch...

I have to say, I do prefer creating my own freehand than messing around with the Forgeworld doors.  Aside from the fact that they never fit, are warped, have air bubbles and too much mould release, it is just more fun to make my own designs.

I also had to create a turret mount for the Multi Melta, which was done with a carved piece of sculpey..

Now for some top views!

And a matching set!

These shots are very cool for me to check out now :-)

Get out of my way!

Happy again.

The Golden Boy

One more Celtos figure from the archives.  This time it is from the Sidhe faction.  There were lots of very nice miniatures that came from the elves, including some very dramatic archers, and the dragon riders.  I really liked those, and I have and example of that here:

Fortunately I was able to collect several of these back in the day.  In an ideal world, I would have enough of them to make a decent sized High Elf army.  There are lots of female figures and characters that could work well.

I also did a few Sidhe theme dioramas... here is a link to one of my favorites!

More Imperials...

Sorry for the delay.  Trying to figure out posting stuff to You Tube.  More of the Imperial Fists today.

People ask all the time, so some of the colors I used on these guys were Iyanden Darksun, Tausept Ochre, some off whites, and Vallejo Leather Brown.  There were some glazes thrown in as well, which you will have to engineer yourself, since there are no formulas there :-)

New images of the Eggshell Redeemer

For whatever reason, I could not find any images of this in my files, so I thought that I would take advantage of all the new advances in LED pure white lights and other things that were not available back in the day.

This meant lots of new images!  Yea!  I could finally get a true representation of the vehicle.

There were some color changes on this Redeemer as opposed to the first one.  You will also see the differences in the freehand.

Some things stayed the same, such as the battlefield horizon lines on the cowlings of the incinerators.

There was certainly a lot going on with these monsters!  Lots of small phrases and passages scattered about.

I had a lot of fun with the images on the upper surface of the hull.  I had always wanted to try something like that :-)

What was less fun were all the mechanisms and the 27 separate parts that had to be painted before assembly!

Plus, the Forgeworld stuff had all the usual fun elements like warping, bubbles, mould release that would not come off, scale issues, and so on.

More images to come, including side by side pictures with the first Redeemer vehicle!!!

Back to the Imperials...

Some Imperial Fists stuff coming over the next few weeks. First up, a few regulars before the characters...

Then more...

Zombicide and the Electric Slide

Fire up the music, get out your platform shoes and boogie!  Time to kill a bunch of zombies, 'cause Disco Stu is in the house!

This was one of the Reaper Bones figures that I turned into a Zombicide character.  He joined Ranger Rick in a combination that was a little bit city, and a whole lotta country :-)

Good thing Polyester doesn't stain!

Courtesy of the folks at CMON and Guillotine Games, I was able to make a character sheet for him

There's no way Stu's gonna let any Zombies get at his pile of Benjamins!  Can't get your freak on without 'em.

The Huntress

Here's another Celtos figure, this time one of the Gaels.  I am pretty sure this was a hero character.
She was sculpted by Kev White, as was most of the Celtos line.

His fantastic sculpts became Hasslefree Minis, which are just as spectacular.  As always, very clean lines, and not overloaded with 'extras', leaving that blank canvas for your own designs.  This time around, it was very simple, but the Gaels I am working on for the Slaine campaign have loads of woad!

I think I have a gallery or two of Hasslefree figures, which are just that!  I also have more galleries of Celtos figures, including a few big dioramas.
