Death Cult Assassin Conversions for Adepticon
As I have mentioned a few times, the one aspect of the new Grey Knights codex I liked was the mass use of assassins! Since I did not get to field my Dark Eldar army, I thought it might be fun to still incorporate some of my extra wyche minis. When I compared the old DCA minis with the wyches, there was not a lot of difference in proportions or pose!
I chopped off as many Dark Eldar bits as possible, and gave them cloaks. These cloaks were done with a thin layer of green stuff on top of a sheet of tin foil. You have to be careful not to crinkle the tin foil, but it helps maintain its shape as the green stuff cures, and provides extra strength later on. The WIP images give you a pretty good idea of what was done.
