I chopped off as many Dark Eldar bits as possible, and gave them cloaks. These cloaks were done with a thin layer of green stuff on top of a sheet of tin foil. You have to be careful not to crinkle the tin foil, but it helps maintain its shape as the green stuff cures, and provides extra strength later on. The WIP images give you a pretty good idea of what was done.

DeleteQuestion: it looks as though you use green stuff on both sides of the tinfoil? Only in the third frame of the last picture is it visible.
ReplyDeleteAmazing work as usual and can't wait for the videos (although since discovering your blog through the kickstarter I have definitely learned a ton already from exploring your years of work).
In this case, I just used it on one side... the other side was coated with liquid green stuff. I didn't want the cloaks to get too thick :-)
