I have always liked the Ogryns for some reason. The IG army I wish to make for myself will have an Inquisition theme with lots of Ogryns in robes! they will be carrying large coloring book versions of the Libre Daemonicus, of course! Hey, Toughness 5 and three wounds...
Here is a sampling:
A collection of images that feature my painted miniatures. It features many of my award winning figures and terrain pieces painted since 2001.

WIP: A (rapidly) scratch built Deathshrieker rocket launcher: the first layers of paint
Right before my second round of play testing for the Chaos Dwarf Civil War army, I put some paint on a Deathshrieker that I sculpted last week. You can see the pictures of that piece on an earlier blog posting.
This is essentially what I refer to as a "shaded basecoat". All I am trying to do here is get a feel for where the colors will be going, and some very rough shading. Normally, this would be about 20% complete in terms of painting. In order to match my partner's army, however, I can't put much more on this, lest I create too much of a difference between his army and mine.
In addition, this is a rare use of metallic paints for me. I took this opportunity to break them out and experiment! You will see even more of the metallic paints on my Tomb Kings army, as the use of the metallics ties in much better with that army's story.
I used regular paint colors and mixed them in with a generic silver color on my palette. This allowed me to tint green, blue, reddish, you name it. That proved to be very entertaining. I had all these different c olors of metals out there, with various light and dark versions. The painting was done so rapidly, I could work wet into wet.
So, let's see some images:

Battlefleet Gothic: Tau Custodian
I learned to play this game a few years ago, and liked it a lot. I had started a fleet for myself, planning to scratch build ships to add to it, etc. The ships are also fun to paint!
I thought the game could be useful to create large scale campaigns, where you fought BFG battles in space on a strategic map, and then 40k table battles based in the results. I still want to do that at some point. I will be posting images of my Imperial fleet ships soon.
For now, here is a Tau vessel.

The New Orcland Patriots, Gallery #2
Now for the rest of the Patriot's images!
We start with Black Orcs:
And more blitzers:
Here's a troll, although some say it is actually the head coach :-)
You need little goblins (like Wes Welker?)
and one with a chainsaw...
Don't squeeze the shaman:
nd a backup thrower (ironically Matt Kassel at the time)
And cheerleaders!!
strike up the band...

The New Orcland Patriots, gallery #1
Tonight begins with the first of two big galleries on the New Orcland patriots! This is probably the 3rd most elaborate Blood Bowl team I have painted, with lots of heavily converted miniatures.
Each figure was done to match a particular player on the team, such as Tom Brady:
Here is the WIP of the QB:
Of course, you muct have a coach!
Of course, this team was painted right around "spygate", where video cameras were used to steal signals from the opposing team. Notice the piece of equipment the gobbo has...
Then you need some linemen:
And Black orcs:
And blitzers:
Some star players like Varag Ghoul Chewer:
And chainsaws!!
