You might even say it glows...

Today we have the figures for the using fluorescent paints video.  I chose a few of the Reaper elementals, as they seemed to scream out for glowy paints!

This is will one of the rare "dual miniature" videos, since I wanted to show more of the range of fluorescent paints than just the oranges or just the blue/green.

I know that the ghost does not seem to glow quite as much next to the inferno, but it really does!

The ghost is actually part of the Bones line.

  1. The fire elemental is a thing of beauty. The colours are so rich and so well blended it looks like it is actually made of flames. Fantastic work.

The ghost is excellent too, but the elemental really stands out.

  3. I'm very impressed. In fact I went out and bought the Vallejo fluorescents the other day after seeing your previous work with them on the big lava giant a few weeks ago.

I got them to use on my SDE Caverns of Roxxor set. I can only hope they turn out half as good as this elemental.

    1. Many thanks! They can be a little strange to work with at first, but they do add so much to a miniature. It can even be very subtle.

    2. @Anonymous--I did the same thing! Very inspirational stuff. Just starting to use them, and they are a little different consistency to work with.

    3. Yes, I sometimes use flow improver on them... but mostly, I mix them with the regular paints, and that cancles out a bit of that difference :-)
