Big, bigger, and BIGGER!

The March of the Machines begins now!

Thanatars and Castellax wlaking about...

The "small" guys are on 60mm Dreadnought bases.

In this image, the "smaller" guys are on 40mm terminator sized bases.

It's really interesting to see them all gathered together like this!

I have also been looking at the similarities between them, and how one sculpt was scaled down in sections to keep the same look in spite of the difference in size.

Stay tuned!  Much more to come!

  1. Odd choice for the bases, but the colour palette is sublime. These look great together.

    1. Yeah... the choice was not mine on the bases. It's something he's done for all his armies, so he wanted to have that one unifying thread between them :-)

  3. Yes indeed... sometimes a little too grim dark :-)

  4. I know the Siege Thanatars can be difficult to assemble due to the ammo belts but how easy are the Thallax and Castellax to assemble? Also is it just the ammo belts that are annoying with the Thannatars?

    1. They can be very difficult. You can't get very adventurous with posing them at all, as they won't go together otherwise. Also, it can be an extreme nightmare to get your brush into many areas...
