There's a light beyond this tunnel

And it's not an oncoming train!

This is the Object source lighting video, as you can imagine.

Some of the fluorescent paints were used, which is always fun!!!

Getting brighter!  Even some glow on the base.

Side by side.

I love object source lighting.  The more the merrier!  It tends to lend the miniatures a sense of scale.  In other words, it makes them seem more 'full sized'.  It is very interesting how it does that.

So, I hope you will enjoy this video :-)

  1. Beautiful mini painting as usual! Any word on when (after everything is all filmed) the dvds will be released to non-kickstarter people? It makes me so sad that I wasn't able to get in on the ks, but funds were limited (and those Stonehaven gnomes were too good to pass lol)

    1. Sorry that you could not dive into the KS! I have faced that dilemma many times myself :-) It will be at least October before the "general public" releases...

  3. What kind of paper do you use to mix the colours?

    1. That is a disposeable palette. It is a pad of 40 sheets. The surface is very nice for mixing paint... I discuss them on every video :-) I guess I should do a blog post on them too!
