Here's another Pre Heresy squad. I must say, this is by far my favorite of all those patterns. Some of them are really difficult to work with. It can get very frustrating when trying to prep them for painting.

I started with GW Tauscept Ochre. I gradually lightened it with a yellowish white color, working all the way to my brightest highlights. I then used some glazes to shade my darker areas. Eventually, I mixed a darker brown into the Tauscept and picked out all the darkest shadows .
The rust was done with a GW calthan brown which was watered down, using it almost like a glaze. I did pick out a few parts of the rust with some lighter orange.
he wappe, im beginning to collect models for my IF army. i just dont know how to start marking im doing the 2nd chapter first battalion probebly the first 2 or 3 companys. what os the 7 for on your right pad
The '7' on the shoulder pad was to do something as different as possible from the previous two squads I had painted... so they would be easier to tell apart :-)
