Khorne space marine special characters

I have painted a few versions of Kharn over the years.  There are a lot of fun little twists to the Khorne marines that make them a nice change to paint.

Dragyri Trueborns, Ice Caste

This gallery of Dragyri miniatures shows some of the biggest of the big guys.  The figure with the flowing cloak was a real challenge, as this was a time when resin was only just beginning to be used.  It was a combination of resin and metal pieces.  I think that style has been abandoned  in favor of all one or the other material.

Dark Angels splinter chapter: first Tac Squad, Gallery #1

It looks like I painted two of these squads, not just the one as I had previously thought.  So, let's start off with the first squad!  I wanted to have part of the armor be a lighter color, so that I could do some weathering.

This figure is a color test for a Dark Angels splinter chapter. I don't recall what the name was supposed to be, but I have painted the first squad.







Here is a set of bases that I sculpted for 40K minis.  This squad was a frist test to see how they would work out!

Dragyri Trueborn miniatures

I have painted dozens and dozens of Dark Age minis, nearly all of which you see on CoolMiniOrNot in the store area.  Here is a small sample of the Dragyri Trueborns, which are mostly large creature sized on 40 and 50mm bases.  There is an Ice Caste and an Air Caste.

Imperial Guard Veteran Squad

This is one of several IG veteran squads I painted for my Inquisition army.  This, obviously, was in the good old days when you could have loads of Stormtrooper allies!  I have a half dozen galleries that will eventually find their way on here...

A few more Enigma miniatures

While Enigma miniatures look really neat once they are painted, they are not always my favorite to work with.  Assembly is not necessarily very easy, and there are times where the sculpting is a bit vague.

That is probably me just being cranky, though!
