I almost forgot to post the rest of the Venom images!

There are still those remaining details to finish on this and the other vehicles, but that will wait until everything else is at this sane stage.

I would rather not do that piecemeal, which could lead me to forget something, or not have consistent results...

There are other details that I would like to add, but that is only if there is time.  Now that I have to spend some time reworking a Tomb Kings unit of chariots, that will cut down on the 'extras'.

Hopefully I will get the chance to do most of the fun extra touches on this army...

This little Piggie...

The last batch of figures from MSB Toys.  I don't know what they had in mind with these guys, but they were pretty funny. :-)  I painted these way back in 2005.

A piece here and a part there...

Pieces and parts.  The story of my life.  Typically spending most of my life painting jigsaw puzzles with no picture of what it;s supposed to look like. :-)

This particular puzzle was even more tricky!

Here you see the main hull, rudder and weapon with the freehand...

And then the ventral section with more engines, prow, grav whatever, and so on...

Gotta have a crew!

This was good training for figuring out how to paint the Kabal Warriors.

And now for some images of the whole collection.

After it is assembled, it will be time to do the finishing touches.

Is it wrong that this is making me super hungry right now?

An MSB TOYS collection from the vault

Here's a set of figures from MSB toys that I painted between 2005 and 2006.

It is certainly a very eclectic collection! ;-)

Some of these were still fun to paint, though...

Some more images of the third Venom so far.  More stuff to do yet.

This is definitely starting to look like an actual army now :-)

I will be really happy to be snapping pics of all three Venoms together once all the little stuff is done!!!

High Strung... more Fenryll

Or should this be called "No Strings Attached" :-)

In these wee hours of the morning we have some more Fenryll figs...

I did not realize just how many of these that I painted back in the day!

There was certainly a wide variety.

A base for the Raider...

Unlike every other army I have done, this one is pretty unique in more ways than one.  It hit me about a week ago that none of my other armies had transports that needed bases!

Normally, I can base my infantry in any method I choose, and just paint the transports.

Instead, all these skimmers have their own bases, and I figured that I should at least try to make them match the infantry that they are carrying somewhat.

Here, you can see that I tried to make the base for the Raider as similar to the Grotesques as possible.

There are a few Grotesques with this kind of base, so I think it should be pretty neat!

I am looking forward to the group shots of the Grotesques with the Raider!!

If possible, I am trying to get one Grotesque painted which will look like it is jumping off the Raider.  This will really let everyone know exactly what unit is on board :-)  It will be magnetized, so that he can join the rest of the unit if I have the points to include him in future games.
