If a tree falls in the forest...

Here are some views of the glazing video being filmed.

Since the focus had to be on glazing alone, I just put the most basic layers of light paint on the tree warrior (from Raging Heroes).

I dried that off, and set up the next stage!

A collection of Secret Weapon washes and more...

Out on the palette and ready to roll!

Looks like a mess, but it is controlled chaos :-)

Pure glazing is always a blast.

Like being back in watercolor class.

Some trees...

Hey, get off my lawn!

    2. I hope people understand your use of colors. It will often seem wrong, but when put together looks amazing...real!

    3. Approaching it like a 3D watercolor will certainly be a change for some folks! :-)

  2. Your glazes are fairly dense in colour, no? I thought that glazing was done with paint that is much more watered down.

    1. They may seem dark on the palette, but they are very transparent. It takes numerous layers to establish a very deep dark with them.

The idea is to tint as well as shade. You can see that in a number of the step by step articles embedded around the blog :-)
