Did you spill something? Painting the Nurgle Decimator part one
Time to start painting the Decimator! These images are all very early stages. More pics in the coming days...
As I began, it was important (as usual) to get as much color onto every surface as quickly as possible
Since I was working rapidly, and with a large brush, I was able to do some wet into wet blending with my colors.
Here are some shots of the torso...
I usually don't show pictures like this. My palette. You can see all the colors that I had been using, and how a somewhat limited color palette created a lot of variety.
Back to the torso:
Here we see some lighter colors on the legs. By this time, I was beginning to use some fluorescent colors.
I bring out the rust and stains a bit more:
The palette shows some of the light sky blues that I added to it.
Gee, I wonder what gave me the ideas to use those colors? It couldn't have been Cathy's shirt, could it?
