I have painted a few of these pre heresy Assault squads. I have to say that I enjoy painting the lighter colors a bit more. The jump packs are definitely more fun to paint than the plastic counterparts.

Hi, I was wondering if you could share the recipee for the white and the brown trim?
ReplyDeleteAll the otherwhite cars I have seen have a very cold white color.
There was not a specific recipe for the white, per se. I started out with a blueish grey, and lightened that with the 'coldest' white I could find. That is, as pure white as possible.
DeleteI did some glazes in the shadow areas, so that it would not be that plain white you mentioned.
The general idea was to keep some kind of 'flavor' to the color. In this case, slightly more blue-grey.
