This is one of three Pre Heresy Assault squads I have painted. The first was a White Scars unit posted a few weeks ago.
I have a third, much larger, Blood Angels unit that I will post later this week.
A collection of images that feature my painted miniatures. It features many of my award winning figures and terrain pieces painted since 2001.

ReplyDeleteThe quality of these guys are just amazing.. how long is it taking you to achieve such effects??
ReplyDeleteIncredibly James!
ReplyDeleteHow much of the work is done with airbrush?
Thanks!
Thanks for checking ot the blog, and for the kid words!
ReplyDeleteI don't use and airbrush for miniature painting... just the usual brushes :-) Glazing helps a lot when you are trying to blend areas together, which I why I usually start with lighter colors and then shade/tint darker.
When I get more time, I will be putting up some 'how to' articles that will probably cover that.
