I tried to look this guy up on the Forgeworld site, but for the life of me, I could not find it! I ran across some of the other command figures I have been working on, but no luck here.
I assume he is some sort of Astropath?
Anyway, more to come!
He's a Legion Master of Signal from the Horus Heresy section.

Sweet paint job by the by.
Thanks for the info!
DeleteIt's also a reworking of Communication Officer Orinoco

If memory serves the miniature was marketed as a techmarine in later White Dwarfs.
Thanks! :-)
DeleteI do so love that model. I remember having the original metal one many years ago.
ReplyDeleteStunning paintwork on him too :)
Thanks for the kind words! The antennae really drove me nuts to straighten out...
DeleteMaster of Signal, have the ancient RT era model here, and this one looks SO much better...
ReplyDeleteI will have to find that old classic!
DeleteI dug mine up and posted a picture or two from my phone's camera (http://chappellheim.blogspot.com/2013/10/ancient-comm-mini.html)... Still haven't chosen a Legion for my 30K force, guessing I'll go back to the Wolves and hope that they do in fact use a lot of the basic "Legion" stuff from the initial book...
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing. I would kill to be able to paint glow like that (seriously glow is a painting technique i cannot master) and freehand like the back of the cape. Please never stop painting miniatures and posting them for me to look at.
ReplyDelete--- the cape on the other guy in the squad you posted in a different post, but i just wanted a closer look at this guy and forgot i clicked a different link.
DeleteI love painting minis, so that will be no problem!
