After all the steps displayed in the previous two posts, I am left with this completed figure.
It was very fun! I look forward to trying out some more, as I try to refine a painting DVD to be created around it.
The next figures from this group will probably have additional markings and insignia.
Enjoy!
Holy sh!t James.
ReplyDeleteA, that is incredible
B, do you ever sleep???
Thanks for the kind words!
DeleteI think that sleep is one of those urban myths that parents use to scare their kids into behaving :-)
In all seriousness, one of the reasons I am doing the DVD kickstarter is to get away from these 7 day a week, 12-18 hours a day work sessions! That has been going on for over a year now, and I won't last long that way :-)
James, I am attempting to contact you regarding your interest to perform some commission work for me. This would include a total of six Reaper miniatures (four medium and two large). I wasn't sure how to go about contacting you, so I apologize if this is not your preferred method. My email address is stldnder@yahoo.com. Would you please contact me to discuss further? Thanks very much.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I will send you an e-mail later today...
DeleteThis Looks amazing! How would I find your Kick Starter page? I have been looking for a link, but cant find it, a DVD of your tutorials would be great! In Particular for NMM, as this is a technique I have had great difficulty!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks!
DeleteThere is no kickstarter page just yet, since we are still trying to establish the framework. All of these articles you see here on the blog are tests for various DVD's.
We are also in contact with lots of manufacturers of miniatures and hobby supplies to see what kind of partnerships we can build. Also, we want to be sure that we have permission from all those concerned to use their product names, etc.
We are hoping to send in a proposal to Kicktstarter in a few weeks!
I thought to say "wow!" to those earlier portal, lava etc. free hand and heat glow effects but now I am speechless - simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the "how I did these tutorials" and hope your Kick Starter page is coming soon!
I am glad these have been helpful! One reason I have been posting these sorts of how to's is that I want to see what people think of a potential DVD... what would be their interest in see that title made, etc.
DeleteThis will give me an idea of what sort of goals to set!
All participation here on the blog by viewers such as yourself is vital to this process!
