DeleteCan you please explain how you paint Imperial Fists? This is my favorite Chapter, and every attempt I make ends in disaster. Thanks, and oh, BTW, these are all just fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you do a search on step by step guides, you will probably run acrosss dozens of them on the blog :-) I think there are even some IF demos.
DeleteI usually start off with Tausept ochre, and lighten that with a yellowish-white. Then I use a chocolate brown color to put in some shading (mixing that with the ochre). I do more lights with the yellow/white mix.
I am doing a painting video on Yellows (there is a post on the blog about that in the kickstarter section). I did that because there were many questions in how to paint I.F. 's! :-)
