More mysteries to solve...

OK miniature sleuths, time to get out those magnifying lenses (HA! 'cause they're SMALL) and figure out who these guys are.  I think the company which made them might have changed hands or names since I first painted these.

Hmm... I guess this can happen when you are recovering from a painting all nighter.

I just added this new thread as a separate page to the blog.  So many people ask me how I did the bases for the Grey Knight army, I thought this step by step might show you how it was done.  Well, at the very least, this is a bit of a sneak peek!

Grey Knights on the brain...

Tonight is one of those dreaded all night painting sessions.  Since I am painting a flying base for a Grey Nights flyer, it got me thinking about these Psycannon toting guys:

Don't blink... the Fallen Angels are here!

Today we have some more Skarrd.  This time it is the Fallen Angels.









And they join their buddy, the Nightmare Juggernaught...

Your worst nightmare...

No, it is not replacement referees!  It is this giant monster from Dark Age games.  It is the Nightmare Juggernaut, form the Skarrd faction.



It is mostly resin, with some metal pieces as well.  The base is 80 mm.  The base that I made for it is plasticard, bulletin board cork and polystyrene tubing.







This image give you a better sense of the scale.  Here the Juggernaught stands next to some typical 28mm human sized Fallen Angels.  You will see those ladies next!

Some Wyrd Zombie ladies....

Today we have some very elegant zombie ladies!  Quite fashionable.  We saw the pictures of these in the Malifaux source book a few weeks ago, which was very cool!
