I didn't realize how many of these Skarrd minis I have painted! This is just another small sample.
I have always thought these Harpies were fun .:-)
A collection of images that feature my painted miniatures. It features many of my award winning figures and terrain pieces painted since 2001.
I love skin on grafter. Its subtle and yet distinctive.
ReplyDeleteThats something I cant achieve ;(
Adding glaze medium or flow improver can help a lot. If you work quickly enough with glaze medium, you can paint wet into wet...
DeleteGorgeous as always. Any chance you could xplain or do a tutorial on how o paint h see through skin? I would love to realise a similar effect.
ReplyDeleteOne down and dirty way to do that is to paint some faded veins on the head, arms, etc. The idea is that you paint thos somewhat faintly, and then glaze over a bit of the flesh color over that.
DeleteIt sets the veins "under" the flesh colors, in a maner of speaking.
I hope that is helpful!
That makes sense and is helpful. Thank you! :)
