A Thrall in time

No matter how many of these I paint, they will still seem tiny compared to the Thanatars and Automatons.  Those things were so massive, I think they have permanently altered my perception!

Obviously the theme is the same, as are the colors, but infantry will never quite be the same...

More to come, so stay tuned!

  1. Great painting but really not a fan of the miniatures themselves. i know they are meant to be crude cyborg types but did they need to be so crude and ridged?

  2. I do however, like the "steam-punky" look...but not the dollar cost to purchase!

    1. Thanks! Doing golds always gives me a chance to mix those fun yellows and purples together, and accent them with a touch of green here and there!

  4. Figurine nice, I love the weapon before it, but I would say that there is a bad point on the base, I know not what, which does not corespond to the figurine.
    But good work.
