Everytime James! Just finished a Necron overlord myself but yours puts mine to shame. Amazing. I know what you mean about the finecast too. It got to the point where the bubbles started to look like part of the cloke texture rather than casting errors.
Thanks! Very brutal material. Sadly, even Forgeworld is using this for certain things, like weapons of dreadnoughts and other 'interchangeable' parts...
I hate to tell you this but that staff will be drooping in a year. My 40K anniversary mini's banner is sagging under it's own weight (I'll have pics on my blog at some point to show the world) and I have seen pics of this guy's staff going limp in peoples display cases. It's not just a pain to work with. Lovely paint job as always though.

DeleteI just refuse to buy it..
ReplyDeleteBut i can hardly see any issues here so either you paint hide them or they are too ashamed to be visible :P
I placed a ban on all Finecast after this abomination...

ReplyDeleteThe staff was mostly broken from the start, so I believe I had to cut it and pin it. That sucker really was nasty!
