A piece here and a part there...

Pieces and parts.  The story of my life.  Typically spending most of my life painting jigsaw puzzles with no picture of what it;s supposed to look like. :-)

This particular puzzle was even more tricky!

Here you see the main hull, rudder and weapon with the freehand...

And then the ventral section with more engines, prow, grav whatever, and so on...

Gotta have a crew!

This was good training for figuring out how to paint the Kabal Warriors.

And now for some images of the whole collection.

After it is assembled, it will be time to do the finishing touches.

Is it wrong that this is making me super hungry right now?

  1. I find that i do hate you sometimes James (in a purely jealousy driven, good natured kind of way)! This entire army is going to look absolutely stunning when they are done. You've done some incredible work over the years mate but this project has got to be right up there near the top.

    1. Many thanks! This is certainly the most advanced 40k army I have done, for a few reasons. This has the most conversions by far, plus the interactions between minis, bases, etc. There is actually a lot more to do once the tournament version is finished!

  2. Truly amazing!! I assemble most of the model before painting and only leave the part that are hard to paint off. How do you glue them together without the glue showing?

    1. Since I use brush on primer, it serves as a great indicator of where the glue can go without showing. It might be the biggest advantage. :-)
