Long ago in a painting studio far far away (ok, it's actually the exact same spot), I set out to make my first diorama. I had this female archer figure (from Spyglass at the time), and I wanted to do something more that just put it on a regular base with com branches or rocks.
I got some sculpey, and created the tree. It seemed to need something else, so I also sculpted the little bird :-) This piece was probably done in 2003.
A collection of images that feature my painted miniatures. It features many of my award winning figures and terrain pieces painted since 2001.

Glory Shots! A sneak preview of what is to come for theAngels Solarus
Since most of the infantry units for the Angels Solarus have been posted already, I thought it was time to use a few "Glory Shots" to give you a taste of future posts.
These were taken at the Chicago Battle Bunker a few months ago. I don't get a chance to shoot pictures of my painted stuff on tables very often, but when I get the chance, it is always great to have them! I love setting up little scenes, trying to get interesting angles and such. My only wish is that I still have all the vehicles when I took these. That would be the stormraven, a few Baal Predators, and the Forgeworld speeders. I didn;t have the dreadnoughts with me either when I took these images...
If you like dreadnoughts, and dreadnought drop pods, you will be delirious with some of these future posts. :-)

Here is an extra sneak preview of the converted Death Company unit!
